Hi Julia,

Thanks for using our product.

Since most or our Muse users prefer video tutorials, it is the first type of tutorial we make for every product. The video tutorial for the Muse Blog/CMS covers everything from the beginning to the end, even updating to a new version, etc., but we also have a number of online documents and community articles. Furthermore we have included several design samples in the package that can be either directly used or used for further learning.

Regarding the activation: No worries; Each license is valid for up to two domains/subdomains = for one project or end client. We crafted this policy specially with the need of our users for separate testing in mind, so you can use one of the two activations on your test domain and the second on the final domain, without any issues. Of course re-activations or multiple blog/cms instances on either of the two domains are possible and unlimited.

If you have any further questions, feel free to submit a support ticket and we will be here to help.

Thanks, I saw those but was after a walk through. I've uploaded the site to my test domain so I can try and see whats what, but Its telling me that the activation will be limited to that domain - not what I want! I need to be able to build on my test domain and then transfer when the site is ready to go live. How can I do this if its only going to activate my test domain?

Yeah, I have it on two domains. One for testing and the main. It did not complain when I loaded on the second domain. Probably because it has the main domain portion in the URL.

I had my work buy me another license so I can build one for a subsidiary that we own. Overall, the tool works great! I use it to make blog posts but also using it as a press release manager.

I hope they continue developing this tool for other functionalities.

HaHa, I feel for you. I bombarded this forum for lots of help. They usually take about 24 hours to respond. That is not bad as I have used other services that took almost 72 hours. My I ask what you are using the tool for? Maybe I can give you some pointers along the way.

Yes its a bit daunting to say the least! I am fairly new to Muse also!

Thank you, I am using it to create a new section on a website. Although I am fascinated to learn of all the other possibilities - maybe I should just focus on the one thing at a time! So yes a news area.

I'm watching the video but most of it is going over my head.

This whole site was created with Muse. Not the greatest but it works.

This is the blog that was created with this tool.

My first site I created with Muse is: http://www.wickedbigcafe.com/

Second site: http://www.weberautoparts.com/

I am a graphic designer that needed to learn how to use such tools. It takes a while but well worth it.
