Answer
Most of the time when you cannot get the Text Magic to work, the widget and the text block are not successfully connected through the Paragraph Style.
Double check the name of the Paragraph Style you assigned, make sure you have not used space or special characters in the style name, also make sure that you are using only english characters, and you will be all set.
