Answer
At the moment we have a "Recent Posts" add-on widget for the blog, and in its new version you can filter the posts by categories, however not by authors. There are chances that we add a filter by author feature in its future updates, but at the moment filtering by category would be the only similar solution in the kit. If your authors by chance could write in separate categories, that would provide a workaround, provided that an author/s page is created manually in Muse.
