Yes, of course, you will be able to have both MAIN blog widget and the recent post widget on the same page. That is actually a very neat idea.

FollowBlog - Full width for most recent post, column view below.
I'd like to have the most recent post show as full width with following posts in columns below. Is this possible? I imagine I'd need to use two separate blog widgets but don't see a way of starting the display from the second most recent post for the column view.

Thanks for you reply. The problem is that when you have a recent post widget as the hero and the main blog widget below, the list post shows twice - once as the hero and then at the start of the main blog. Is there a way to get the main blog widget to start displaying from the second most recent post?
