Add to Cart Button (Buy Button)

This allows people to Add an item to Cart. You also have the option of making this a Buy Now or a Donate button.

One Add to Cart Button is needed for each item that you want to sell. If you have multiple variations of an item (for example you’re selling a product that comes in different colors) then please see the Item Variations Article for more details.

Options

Main Controls

Shipping Price
The shipping price for the item.

Additional Shipping Price
The shipping price for each additional item.

For example, if the shipping price is $5 and the additional shipping price is $3 and a customer gets three of the same item, then the customer would be charged $13 for shipping.

If this field is left blank, the customer will just be charged the Shipping Price once. So, continuing the example above, if a customer gets three of the same item, then the customer would be charged just $5 for shipping.

Additional Settings
There is the option to apply a discount, shipping price, or quantity to each individual item.

Button Type
You can also choose to have the button act as a Buy Now or as a Donate button. When set to either option, users will be brought directly to PayPal to enter their checkout information.

Styling

You can specify the Button text and icon through the styling options. To style the text, you can select the button and style it through the Text panel.

Icon Separator
Refers to the separator line that appears between the icon and the text. To hide the separator line you can set the opacity to 0 and the separator fill to none.

Hover Effect

You can specify the text for just the hover state. The background, border, and font for the hover state can be customized. The opacity, scaling, and transition speed can also be customized.

Scale
Values smaller than 1 will make the button smaller on hover. Values larger than 1 will make the button larger on hover.

Transition Speed
The amount of time the hover effect takes up.

Assigning

You also have the option of using a Graphic Style to assign your own object as the Add To Cart button. Follow these directions if you do not know how to Assign a Graphic Style To An Object.
